Test a read reflects the latest write

Practice app · Acme Commerce DB
A real SQL database (SQLite engine) seeded with an e-commerce and HR dataset, with schema browser and query runner.
Your starter code already declares TEST_URL — never hardcode a host.
Objective
Update a customer's profile and loyalty balance, then read it back immediately to prove the read returns the latest committed values.
Your task
- 1Optionally read customer 5 first to note the current city and loyalty_points.
- 2Update customer 5: set city to 'Brighton' and add 100 to loyalty_points (relative update).
- 3Read it back: SELECT id, city, loyalty_points FROM customers WHERE id = 5.
Acceptance criteria
- Customer 5 has the new city and +100 loyalty points; no one else changed
- The last result set is customer 5 after the write
Constraints
- Every run starts from a freshly seeded database, so your script must include its own setup statements.
- Only the last result set of your script is compared, so finish with the verification query.
