Practice app · Acme REST API
A live REST + GraphQL API with auth, validation, pagination, rate limiting and an interactive request console.
Your starter code already declares BASE_URL — call the API relative to it.
Objective
Create a user, then read it back by id and prove the read reflects the write.
Your task
- 1POST BASE_URL + "/users" with a unique email and capture the id.
- 2GET BASE_URL + "/users/{id}" and assert 200.
- 3Assert the returned name and email equal what you created.
Acceptance criteria
- POST /users returns 201
- GET /users/{id} returns 200
- At least 2 assertions pass
Constraints
- Use a unique email per run, e.g. qa.<timestamp>@example.test — emails must not already exist (409 EMAIL_TAKEN).
